Step by step
Pre-Shoot Consultation Call
The pre-shoot consultation call is an important part of my process and will follow shortly after you receive your Welcome pack, which will be sent to you by post once you've booked your session with me. This call is the perfect opportunity to get to know you, your horse, and your preferred shoot location. It is also the perfect opportunity for you to get to know me!

I will walk you through the entire photoshoot process, ensuring you have a clear understanding of what to expect on the day. This is the time for us to discuss styling options, exchange creative photoshoot ideas, and address any questions or queries you may have.
My goal is to make sure you feel completely prepared for your upcoming equine portrait session.
Preparing for the shoot
To prepare for your equine portraiture photoshoot, we recommend selecting outfits that reflect your style and the desired mood of the photoshoot. Groom your horse to perfection through bathing, brushing, and trimming, ensuring they look their best. Have clean and well-maintained tack and accessories ready. Your horse and your tack will need to be ready before I arrive. I will confirm the date, time, and location of the photoshoot prior to the day of the shoot. Exercising your horse before the shoot will help them be relaxed for the shoot.

Photoshoot
After meeting at the location of your choice, we will take a some time to explore the picturesque surroundings, carefully selecting backgrounds that will not only enhance your photographs but also tell the story of your unique connection.

Your photoshoot experience, lasting approximately two hours, is more than just a session; it's an exciting opportunity to celebrate the beautiful bond you share with your horse. In-person private viewing
Two weeks after your photoshoot, we'll arrange a private, in-person viewing session, designed to immerse you in the beauty of your finished portraits. During this personalized session, you'll have the opportunity to view your finalised gallery and select your favourite photograph for your bespoke 16" framed photo included in the shoot fee.
